Our CCMH Missions supports the preaching of the gospel from around the globe to our own back yard.  We would love to tell you in person of the missions we support since some of them are unable to be mentioned in this public setting.

January 25th we will have a missions speaker!
Steve and Rhonda Hayward will be here to speak on their ministry with Pioneer Bible Translators. 
There will also be a potluck to follow service. 

Steve and Rhonda Hayward have served with Pioneer Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea (PNG) since 1982. In 1984, they began ministering among the Tay people in the remote Schraeder Mountains where their focus was translation, literacy and Scripture Impact. Besides translation work, Steve has also served as director and as a translation consultant for the PNG branch. The Tay New Testament was dedicated in July 2014 and the audio New Testament completed in 2015. 

Steve and Rhonda currently live in Joplin, Missouri, at Ozark Christian College where they have served as Residence Directors of a girls’ dormitory since August 2012. Steve continues to consultant check new Bible translation work in other languages in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Asia and West Africa. He and Rhonda are member care facilitators and mentors for our translation workers in a country in Asia. They continue to be advisors and mentors for the Tay people and churches in PNG. Steve spent 6 months in PNG last year in leadership so that those normally in those roles could take leave time in the US.
